The Washington Huskies travel to Lincoln, Nebraska, on Saturday to face the Cornhuskers in a Big Ten contest that serves as a midpoint before a pivotal homecoming schedule.
Kickoff is scheduled for 5 p.m. Pacific Time, or 7 p.m. Central Time. The game will air on the Big Ten Network and stream on the FOX One app.
Washington enters the matchup with a 4-3 overall record and a 1-3 mark in conference play. The team just finished a bye week following a 38-26 victory over Purdue in West Lafayette, Indiana. Nebraska holds a 5-2 overall record and a 2-2 conference record, having also taken a bye week after losing to Indiana and Oregon.
The broadcast team for the televised game includes Wayne Randazzo, Rhett Lewis, and Caroline Hendershot. Radio coverage begins four hours before kickoff on Seattle's SportsRadio KJR 93.3 FM. The audio feed features Elise Woodward, former Husky tight end Cameron Cleeland, and Dave Mahler. Listeners can also access the game on Sirius XM channels 83 and 979, as well as through the Huskies Gameday and Varsity mobile apps.
Team statistics reveal individual milestones for the Huskies. Punter Hunter Green leads the Big Ten with a 47.9-yard average. Quarterback Demond Williams Jr. became the third player in school history to reach 1,000 career rushing yards. The roster is also on pace to break the program record of 44 starts by first-year players, with five multi-game starters combining for 28 starts this season.
The Huskies face a road-heavy stretch that includes only one home game in the next 41 days. They return to Seattle on Nov. 7 to host Penn State for Homecoming. This will mark the Nittany Lions' first game in Seattle in 105 years.
The matchup occurs in Lincoln, Nebraska, at Memorial Stadium. The game follows a recent sequence where both teams took breaks from their schedules to rest and prepare for this conference fixture.
