The Class 6A high school football regular season in Minnesota concluded on Friday night, bringing a definitive end to the autumn gridiron. For families and communities across the state, the final whistle marked the transition from weekly rivalry games to the high-pressure environment of the postseason. The results delivered a mix of long-awaited celebrations and shocking upsets that will shape the upcoming bracket. Fans in the Twin Cities region witnessed a night filled with emotional swings, from dominant performances to finishes decided by mere seconds. This was the final chapter of the regular campaign, setting the stage for the intense competition ahead in November.

Roseville emerged as the night's most significant winner. The Raiders defeated Coon Rapids with a final score of 24 to 14. This victory secured the Metro Maroon subdistrict title for the program. It also marked the end of a season where the team finished with a 4 and 4 record. That standing represents their best performance since 2017. The win cements their status as a top contender in the division as the playoffs approach.

Senior quarterback Chase Browning was the driving force behind the Roseville victory. He accounted for 162 passing yards and threw three touchdown passes during the contest. The performance was a culmination of the team's efforts throughout the year. Browning expressed the team's relief and joy after the final score was set. He noted, "It's an amazing feeling." He added, "I don't even have words for it. We've all worked so hard. It's great to see it finally paying off."

Other results solidified seeding positions across the region. Centennial defeated Anoka by a wide margin of 38 to 6. This blowout likely guarantees the Cougars a No. 3 seed in the Class 6A playoffs. It positions them as a strong candidate for a deep run into the next month. Notably, Anoka was held to just six points. This was the first time this season that the team failed to score in double digits.

Mounds View secured the Metro East subdistrict title through a narrow victory over White Bear Lake. The Mustangs won 22 to 16 in a game that stayed close until the final minutes. Trailing by two points, the team turned the tide with 65 seconds remaining. Quarterback Tanner Jude scored on a one-yard run to take the lead. A successful two-point conversion extended the advantage to six points. Preston Johnson then intercepted a pass on the next possession to ensure the win. The defensive effort was key, holding White Bear Lake quarterback Wyatt Stachowiak to only six completions on 24 attempts.

East Ridge ended a challenging season with a 42 to 31 win over rival Woodbury. Logan Tretter contributed two rushing touchdowns for the home team. Elias Mather provided a late boost by returning an interception for a score. This play put the game out of reach and sealed the result. Forest Lake running back Mack Jurkovich posted the night's best individual statistics. He rushed for 245 yards and two touchdowns in a 31 to 13 victory over Stillwater. This win locks the Rangers into a No. 2 seed. Jurkovich, who has committed to St. Thomas, finished the regular season with 1,600 rushing yards.

Individual brilliance also shone in other matchups. Park junior receiver Manny Vargas scored twice in an 18 to 10 win over Eastview. He caught a touchdown pass and also returned a punt 75 yards for a score. The most dramatic finish of the night occurred in the south metro. Lakeville South sophomore kicker Dylan Nelson kicked a 36-yard field goal with one second left on the clock. This gave the Cougars a 17 to 14 upset victory over Rosemount. The result complicates the seeding landscape for the south metro in the upcoming playoffs.

These results complete the regular season narrative for the Class 6A division. The winners and losers now move forward with clear objectives. The seeds are set, and the subdistrict titles are claimed. The focus shifts to the playoff format where single elimination stakes are highest. The performances on Friday night will echo through the rest of the football year. Teams that excelled must now maintain their momentum in a shorter, more intense schedule. The season has moved from the regular grind to the decisive final chapter.
