Shoppers at Newegg can currently purchase a pre-built gaming PC for under $2,600.
The retailer lists the ABS Stratos II Ruby at $2,549.99, a reduction of $450 from the original list price. This specific configuration includes an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor, an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti graphics card, and 32GB of DDR5 memory. Tom's Hardware identifies this unit as the least expensive RTX 5070 Ti system on the Newegg platform. The publication notes that ABS is a Newegg house brand, which accounts for the high volume of listings from the manufacturer on the site. The outlet anticipates high demand and expects the inventory to sell out quickly.
The system relies on AMD's 3D V-Cache technology for its processing power. The eight-core Ryzen 7 9800X3D chip features 96MB of L3 cache. This increased cache capacity allows the processor to access data more frequently without relying on slower system memory. The result is lower latency and more consistent frame rates during gameplay. While the chip no longer holds the absolute top spot in Tom's Hardware benchmarks, it remains very close to the leader. No Intel processor currently matches the gaming performance of an X3D part, according to the review.
The graphical output is handled by the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti. This current-generation Blackwell card contains 8,960 CUDA cores and 16GB of GDDR7 video memory. It supports Nvidia's latest features, including DLSS with multi-frame generation. The hardware is positioned as a mid- to high-tier option suitable for 1440p and 4K resolution. Tom's Hardware reports that the card manages 4K gaming with ray tracing in current titles. Users should expect to use top graphics presets, though settings may need adjustment in the most demanding 4K games. The 16GB of video memory offers more headroom than the 8GB found on the RTX 5060 and RTX 5050.
Supporting components include two 16GB G.Skill Ripjaws M5 Neo RGB modules running at 6,000 MT/s. Storage is provided by a 2TB Team Group NV5000 M.2 SSD with Gen 4 speeds. The drive offers sufficient space for multiple large game installations. The system connects via Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and Ethernet. A Bitspower 240mm all-in-one liquid cooler manages the processor's heat.
In a report dated October 23, 2026, Tom's Hardware described the pricing as strong for the current market. The publication cited the $450 discount and the specific combination of the 9800X3D and RTX 5070 Ti as key factors in the value proposition.
