Best Buy reduced the price of the Acer Predator XB27OU by $50 on October 23, 2026, bringing the cost of the 27-inch QD-OLED gaming monitor to $329.99.

The display features a 26.5-inch panel with a maximum resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels, a configuration often labeled as QHD or 2K. Tom's Hardware notes that this resolution is suitable for mid-range gaming systems because graphics cards can typically maintain the necessary frame rates without excessive strain.

Performance specifications emphasize speed and motion clarity. The monitor operates at a 240Hz refresh rate and achieves a gray-to-gray response time of 0.03ms. This rapid response is attributed to the OLED technology and helps prevent ghosting artifacts during fast-paced gameplay.

Color reproduction is a distinct advantage of the QD-OLED panel. The device covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and maintains a Delta E accuracy below 2. It also supports HDR10 and 10-bit color, which enhances contrast and color depth compared to standard dynamic range displays. The panel is fully compatible with AMD FreeSync Premium, a feature that synchronizes the refresh rate with the game's frame rate to eliminate screen tearing.

Connectivity options include two HDMI 2.1 ports and one DisplayPort 1.4 port. These inputs allow users to connect a desktop computer and multiple game consoles to a single screen. The price reduction positions the monitor as an accessible option for players transitioning from traditional IPS screens to OLED technology.
