Wyoming Public Media released its latest on-air puzzle segment on Saturday, November 1, 2026. The format requires listeners to identify 13 U.S. geographic locations based on cryptic clues. Every answer is a two-word place name, such as a city, state, river, or mountain. The initial letters of the provided clues match the initial letters of the correct answers.
The list includes specific prompts for regions and landmarks across the country. Clues range from Northeast Haven and Pioneers' Pinnacle to Oil Capital and Port Honolulu. One entry, Minnesota's Sizable Population, requires a three-word answer. The station provided a previous example showing how Florida Locale leads to Fort Lauderdale.
Deborah Freedman of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, won the prior week's segment. That challenge asked listeners to identify two companies with lowercase starting letters and a capital B in their logos. The correct answers were eBay and jetBlue. The station selects listeners whose answers are chosen to participate in the on-air game.
A new challenge is currently open for the following week. Listeners must find a three-letter part of the human body and insert it into a four-letter part of the body to create a supermarket brand name. Participants must submit their answers by Thursday, November 5, at 3 p.m. ET. Submissions require a phone number where the station can reach the listener.
